Buurt Buffet en film in Het Blauwe Huis
IJlife nodigt jou (en je gezin met kinderen) uit voor een ‘buurtbuffet’ met eten, gezelligheid en (deze maand) film op zondag 9 november a.s. van 16:30 uur tot 19:00 uur.
Met film ‘de leeuw, de heks en de kleerkast’, verfilming van het gelijknamige boek van C.S. Lewis. De officiele aangegeven leeftijd op de film is 12 jaar; het is aan ouders zelf om in te schatten of eventuele jongere kinderen de film aan kunnen.
Op 9 november houden we ons maandelijks “buurtbuffet” waar iedereen (of elk gezin) een gerecht mee brengt om met de rest te delen (genoeg voor jezelf of voor het aantal mensen waarmee je komt). Het Blauwe Huis heeft geen oven, maar iets opwarmen in de magnetron is wel mogelijk. Voor koffie, thee, frisdranken en eenvoudige snacks wordt gezorgd. We beginnen met z’n allen om 16:30 uur in het Blauwe Huis (Willy Mullenskade 13). Rond 17.00 gaan we eten en rond 17.30 starten we met de film, tot ongeveer 19.00.
De film gaat over 4 kinderen, die via een magische kast onverwacht in een andere wereld terechtkomen. Daar komen ze terecht in een prachtige wereld, Narnia, waar helaas al heel lang de winter heerst doordat de witte heks er regeert. Geholpen door de machtige en wijze leeuw Aslan en zijn leger van sprekende dieren, gaan de kinderen een spectaculaire strijd aan om Narnia te bevrijden uit de macht van de ijzige heks. Een prachtige film voor wat grotere kinderen en volwassenen!

IJlife invites you and your family out for an evening of friendship, feasting & fun at our monthly open dinner, on Sunday, November 9th, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Along with delicious food, we will enjoy the film “The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe.”
The film “The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe” is an adaptation of the book by CS Lewis. The official age indicated on the film is 12 years; it is up to parents themselves to assess whether any younger children to handle the film.
On 9 November we hold our monthly “neighborhood buffet” where everyone (or any family) brings a dish along to share with the rest (enough for yourself or for the number of people with whom you come). The Blue House has no oven, but heating something in the microwave is possible. IJlife will provide coffee, tea, soft drinks and simple snacks. We start all together at 16:30 in Het Blauwe Huis (Willy Mullenskade 13). Around 17:00 we eat, and around 17:30 we start the movie until about 19:00.
The film is about four children who unexpectedly find themselves in a different world through a magical wardrobe. They arrive in a beautiful world, Narnia, where unfortunately the winter has long been dominated by the White Witch who reigns there. Aided by the powerful and wise lion, Aslan and his army of talking animals, the children join in a spectacular battle to free Narnia from the power of the icy witch. A wonderful film for big kids and adults!
